We live in the age of technology
Where, instead of making a difference
Or really caring about anything
We “like” or “share it”
To prove we are for it.
What about the days of action
Where’s the passion?
What a lackluster age we live in
And we sit back and post statuses about it,
When we actually do something about it
There’s always someone there to stop us
An age where protests
End in arrests.
They wonder what’s wrong with the youth of today
It’s because they aren’t from yesterday.
Our world is in disarray
And we sit idly by
And watch as it
