I'm Back

After much ado, I have finally returned.

Most of my files have been saved(and backed up NUMEROUS times) and I am now typing comfortably on my new Lenovo Thinkpad. I am absolutely in love with this laptop. All of you authors out there, it is rated best keyboard. If I wanted to go all secret agent I could even access it through fingerprint. Not saying I would, but it's good to know I can.

Today I opened up Sunny With a Chance of Homicide and began reading over it. The main thing it made me realize is that I love writing. That should be one of the most obvious things ever, but after an almost four month hiatus, it wasn't. In that time I loved the idea of writing, but got no actual writing done. My laptop and the loss and recent retrieval of my files was like going to couple's counseling with my writing. The spark is back in our relationship and it isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

The Prologue to Don't Ask, Don't Tell was a terrible portrayal of my main character. I rewrote that and have been cutting superfluous things that I can't even believe I wrote in the first place.

Well, less time blogging, more time writing.
